ANALYSIS OF BINARY GAS MIXTURES BY THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY.

Abstract

A method for the analysis of a binary mixture, one of the components of which is hydrogen by the simultaneous determination of the heat conductivity and the pressure of the mixture, is described. The empirical calibration curves are strictly linear. Total pressures of 2 X 10 to the minus 7th power moles of gas can be analyzed by this method with an accuracy which may reacy plus or minus 1%.
