OBSERVATIONS ON EMERGENCY OPERATIONS IN A CIVIL DISORDER.

Abstract

The Los Angeles riots provided an opportunity to learn about the problem of controlling civil disorder. Some observations that were made from a study of those riots, and some implications of those observations for future riot control are presented. (Author)
