BASIC RESEARCH ON RETINAL MECHNAISMS AND RESPONSES

Abstract

Investigations were conducted on the visual perception of contours; on the sensation of brightness; and on retinal response to lights of different spectral composition, by taking as index both critical flicker frequency and electroretinographic intensity function. Long-term adaptation and training relative to ERG response were also studied.
