Abstract

An analysis was made of the data in the literature on the state diagrams in systems of transition metal of subgroup IV-VI - carbon by the dependence of the heats of formation, energies of activation and coefficients of activity of monocarbide phases on the position of the metal in the periodic system, as well as data on evaporability.
