Abstract

The report presents a summary of a study of the products and mechanisms of reactions wherein unsaturated systems containing nitrogen or sulfur are photolyzed. Included are studies of (1) the photochemical Beckmann rearrangement, (2) the general heteroatom transfer, (3) coumalin dimerization, and (4) the photolytic decomposition of beta-ketosulphones.
