APPROXIMATE THEORY OF THE WIRE HELIX SLOW WAVE STRUCTURE.

Abstract

The electromagnetic properties of the round wire helix slow wave structure are described by a generalized sheath helix theory, which makes it possible to predict the performance of practical TWTs quantitatively without introducing the concept of space harmonics. (Author)
