COLDWELD HI RELIABILITY QUARTZ CRYSTAL UNITS CR-1018 AND CR-65/U.
Abstract
Holder parts of the HC-6 Coldweld type are available. The procurement and/or fabrication of special fabrication equipment is proceding in a satisfactory manner. Process improvements of the lapping, etching, base coating and handling of the resonators has been incorporated in the fabrication procedures. Resonators are now being fabricated using the improved processess. Resonator designs have been initiated and little difficulty is expected in meeting the general specifications with the exception of the 1.0 MHz unit type CR-1018.
