SINGULAR SEQUENTIAL DETECTION ON A GAUSSIAN PROCESS.
Abstract
This report presents new theoretical and experimental results illustrating occurrence and non-occurrence of singular sequential detection. Particular concern is made of the commonly offered explanations as to why singular detection really does not violate intuition. Experimental results are given for the detection of RC noise in RC noise. (Author)
