AN APPRAISAL OF A PROPANE BOILER SYSTEM FOR GAS JET CONTROL OF SPACECRAFT.

Abstract

The feasibility of a 'heat sink' boiler for use with a satellite propane gas jet control system is discussed. Problems of design, construction and heat flow are described, and an estimate made of the possible boiler performance. Results of an experiment to determine the most suitable pipe for such a boiler are presented. (Author)
