HUMAN FACTORS RESEARCH IN IMAGE SYSTEMS

Abstract

The report describes research accomplished during FY 1962 and indicates the kind of payoff in intelligence output that can result from human factors research in image systems. Data were collected for a study on relative effectiveness of transparencies and positive prints. Measures of interpreter performance, based upon a detailed review of selected World War II photography, were delineated.
