ON CEBYSEV'S METHOD FOR FUNCTIONAL EQUATIONS.

Abstract

Sufficient conditions are given for the cubic convergence of Cebysev's iterative method for the solution of nonlinear operator equations in a Banach space. Applications are given to nonlinear ordinary differential equations. (Author)
