A REVIEW OF ELECTRONICS TRAINING RESEARCH LITERATURE.

Abstract

The review of electronics training literature is designed to augment and undate information obtained from a previous evaluative survey of military and civilian electronics training programs. The review is based primarily on available research reports published during recent years and pertaining to the training of electronics personnel in the military services. Five major areas of electronics training research are considered in the review: troubleshooting approaches and trainers, maintenance manuals and other job aids, training course variables, experimental electronics training courses, and training evaluation. General trends in electronics training research are noted, and their relationship to the findings of the previous evaluative survey is discussed.
