QUALIFICATIONS AND RELATED TRAINING FOR NAVAL RESERVE OFFICERS (1105) NAVAL WARFARE/OPERATIONS, SURFACE. MINE WARFARE.

Abstract

The memorandum reports on the development of qualifications standards and related training for all 1105 officers assigned to the Mine Warfare (M/W) Program. These qualifications standards were developed as a part of the professional development system for Naval Reserve officers not on active duty. It should be noted that the Mine Warfare (M/W) qualifications outlined are in addition to the requirements for all 1105 officers outlined in NAVPERS 15988-1. The conclusion reached was that the addition of type warfare qualifications Mine Warfare (M/W) is a logical step of professional training in the professional development system. (Author)
