TODAY'S COMPUTATIONAL METHODS OF LINEAR ALGEBRA

Abstract

This is a survey of selected computational aspects of linear algebra, addressed to the nonspecialist in numerical analysis. Some current methods of solving systems of linear equations, and computing eigenvalues of symmetric and unsymmetric matrices are outlined. A bibliography containing 62 titles is included.
