STATE OF GAS BEHIND FRONT OF A STRONG SHOCKWAVE

Abstract

An appropriate system of the equations is recorded and an approximate method of its solution is proposed that takes into account the role of the excited states. In particular, shock waves in air at velocities v1 > or = 10 km/sec are examined.
