COMPARISON OF THE AIRMAN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION WITH THE DIFFERENTIAL APTITUDE TESTS.

Abstract

In the high school testing program of the USAF Recruiting Service, there is occasional reference to the relationship between the Airman Qualifying Examination and civilian tests. Information in this area can be useful in the hands of guidance counselors. This report contains data on the relationships between the Differential Aptitude Tests and the Airman Qualifying Examination. Tables are presented which can be used to estimate DAT scores from the AQE aptitude indexes or to estimate AQE aptitude indexes from DAT scores. It appears that the AQE and DAT measure essentially similar abilities. (Author)
