DISCRETE MOVEMENTS TOWARD AND AWAY FROM THE BODY IN THE HORIZONTAL PLANE.

Abstract

The basic movement-conditions were altered so that the individuals were required to move along a line lying in the horizontal plane but perpendicular to the frontal plane of the body, i.e., toward and away from the front of the body along a horizontal surface. The major experimental variables were length of movement (2.5, 10, and 40 cm.) and direction of movement (inward and outward). (Author)
