THE INVESTIGATION OF THE PULKOVO POLARIMETER AND ASI-4 CHAMBER.
Abstract
In order to increase the precision of measurements of polarized light improvements were made in the design of the electropolarimeter based on V. I. Myuhkyurya's system. The amplification coefficient of the amplifier and the current and voltage sensitivities of the electropolarimeter were determined. The light sensitivity of the electropolarimeter, spectral characteristic of the ASI-4 camera, spectral response of the electropolarimeter and spectral characteristic of the polaroid were investigated. The errors of measurements of polarization due to the electropolarimeter and the ASI-4 camera were computed. (Author)
