TRAINING MANUAL FOR PORTABLE INTERPHONE TRAINER, DEVICE 8-I (VOICE COMMUNICATION).

Abstract

The manual was prepared for use with Training Device 8-I in a speech intelligibility training program. An attempt was made to provide the instructor with (1) basic information, founded on research, about voice communication; (2) specific operating instructions for recommended communication training and testing devices; (3) a training program, including minimum and optional stages, which has been demonstrated to achieve desired results; and (4) recommended testing procedures to assess the effects of training.
