Abstract

The bibliography is the first in a planned series of bibliographies of literature pertinent to the field of human factors engineering. It covers literature from the time period of 1940 through 1959. The bibliography consists primarily of: (1) an index to the human factors literature, and (2) the annotated bibliography.
