LINEARIZATION OF THE EQUATIONS OF MOTION OF AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS WITH THE AID OF ASYMPTOTIC POLYNOMIALS.

Abstract

An effective method is proposed in this paper for constructing the fundamental harmonic of the solution of the nonlinear equation of motion of an autonomous system and a suitable stability criterion is proved. The method is based on the apparatus of approximation of functions recently developed by I. I. Eterman. Systems with one degree of freedom are considered. (Author)
