Research progress in the following areas is summarized: the inhibition of the hydrogen-oxygen reaction by hydrocarbons; the effect of carbon monoxide on the hydrogen-oxygen reaction in aged boric-acid-coated vessels; the water-sensitised oxidation of carbon monoxide.
