EPHEMERIS CALCULATION OF THE ANGULAR VELOCITY OF A SATELLITE OF THE EARTH,

Abstract

Assuming the ephemeris position to be known, a method is proposed for calculating the topocentric angular velocity in accordance with the period of rotation and the geocentric radius vector of a satellite. The latter data can be found in accordance with observations at one separate station which were made on previous dates. Thus, the topocentric data of the movement of the satellite (mu, i, or 0) can be found at each station in accordance with completely accessible information. (Author)
