HARTREE-FOCK CALCULATIONS WITH A DENSITY-DEPENDENT INTERACTION.

Abstract

A simple, density-dependent, effective two-nucleon interaction is used in the calculation of finite nuclei by the Hartree-Fock approximation. Results are obtained for the binding energy, density, and single-particle levels of carbon-12, oxygen-16, Silicon-28, and calcium-40. (Author)
