PHOTOMETRIC CALIBRATION OF AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE CONTROL SYSTEMS.

Abstract

Photometric equipment and techniques designed to calibrate photographic automatic exposure control systems are presented. A J.A. Maurer Automatic Exposure Control, Model 1222, designed for aerial use is tested by these means and the calibration test results are presented, discussed, and compared with both the manufacturer's specifications and the standard aerial exposure index. Future refinements of these techniques are outlined. (Author)
