A REVIEW OF SOME PROBLEMS IN TURBULENT MIXING.

Abstract

A critical review of turbulent far wake experiments is presented. All the available data at M = 3, 3.89, 5, 11.18 are surveyed with a view to prediction of transport properties. There are indicated considerable difficulties in finding a single diffusion model adequate to describe the flow field. (Author)
