TWO-DIMENSIONAL FLIGHT COMPUTER PROGRAM,

Abstract

This report described a two-dimensional flight computer program written for the IBM 1620 computer. The program is used to calculate the trajectory and instantaneous velocity of an object that is projected upward from the ground at any angle or projected or released from an aircraft. Mathematical derivation, options for using, and computer operator instructions are presented. Also, included are certain checks that were made to compare the accuracy of the program with bombing tables, range tables, and theoretical equations. (Author)
