AN EIGHT-CHANNEL HIGH-PERFORMANCE OSCILLOGRAPH RECORDING SYSTEM.

Abstract

A high-performance, eight-channel, electro-optical recording system for recording pressure-time histories of blast phenomena is described. The system has a frequency response of 0.03 cycles per second to 250 kilocycles per second with an input impedance of 1600 megohms. These are fully adequate characteristics for accurate piezoelectric gage recording. The system can also be used as an eight-channel, single-sweep recording system using Polaroid cameras. The system is characterized by high accuracy, reliability and stability, and provides for ease of operation and maintenance.
