A NEW METHOD OF RECORDING LARGE COSMIC RAY AIR SHOWERS,

Abstract

The difficulty of recording fast timing information in a large air shower array is discussed and a possible solution to this problem is proposed. The time of passage of shower fronts at each detector station in the array is to be measured with respect to the time as given by a time signal transmitter in or near the array. Details of the method are given. (Author)
