BIOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS IN PACIFIC AREA,

Abstract

The program of Biological Investigations in the Pacific Area during the period of March 1955 to February 1966 sponsored a series of projects designed to increase the scientific knowledge of the biological sciences in the Pacific. These included a study of Pacific Island rats, studies of tropical fishes and their zoogeography, studies of Pacific insects, and identification of scientific collections. (Author)
