THE CHEMISTRY OF BORON.
Abstract
Compounds enriched in B-10 were used to elucidate infra-red spectroscopic assignments of compounds such as potassium tetrafluoroborate. New types of heterocyclic boron compounds were synthesised and their physical and chemical properties compared with those of analogous open chain compounds. The use of such compounds in synthetic organic chemistry was evaluated. (Author)
