ELECTRONIC POLARIZATION CONTROL.

Abstract

The accomplishments of a research program on polarization aspects of microwave antennas are summarized. Two basic areas were investigated; i.e., electronic polarization control techniques and the effect of polarization control on radome boresight error. Analyses were developed for determining boresight error with two-dimensional radome geometries; and methods of optimum radome design were determined. Two polarization control devices and an electronic phase shifter for use with these devices were tested. (Author)
