UNIVERSAL ENCODER TESTING SYSTEM.

Abstract

The Universal Encoder Tester (UNET) was developed to provide the Navy with an automatic testing system capable of fully evaluating Analog-to-Digital (A/D) Converters. Modifications were undertaken to improve the performance of the system to provide for a simplification of the timing controls and an improved error detection routine. Substantial improvements have been made to increase the functional capabilities of the machine. (Author)
