VENT-GAS TREATMENT PLANT

Abstract

As part of the Vela Uniform program, Project Dribble was concerned with the measurement of seismic signals generated by nuclear detonation in a salt dome. The report describes a vent-gas treatment facility which was connected to the post-shot drilling rig at the well head to remove radioactive particulates from the cavity effluents and control release rate of gaseous radioactivity to meet public health safety standards.
