MANIPULATING DATES AND TIME LAPSES IN A COMPUTERIZED RECORDS SYSTEM,

Abstract

A technic for handling dates within a computer as consecutive integers is defined and illustrated. Various possible applications are suggested, with an example demonstrating conversion in, conversion out, time between dates, number of weekdays between dates, and identification of a biweekly report date.
