ATTITUDE AND STABILITY OF A DEEP SUBMERGENCE RESCUE VEHICLE AFTER JETTISONING EQUIPMENT,

Abstract

The effect of dropping various emergency items on the trim and stability of a deep submergence vessel is shown. In addition, a method is given for calculating the attitude of the vessel during the ascent toward the surface and the final attitude of the vessel when at equilibrium on the surface. (Author)
