A PROPOSED UNIVERSAL MOUNTING FOR THE RECEIVER-TRANSMITTER, RATIO RT-( )/APX-72.

Abstract

The design and test data on a proposed universal mounting for the Receiver-Transmitter, Radio RT-( )/APX-72 is described. The proposed mount complies with paragraphs 3.5.3.1 (hard-mount) and 3.5.3.2 (isolation-mount) of the AIMS coordinated military specification MIL-R-81435(WP) issued 1 April 1966. The mount has been designed for die casting to achieve lightness and reduced quantity production cost. (Author)
