FLAGSTAFF CLOUD PHYSICS PROGRAM METEOROLOGICAL REVIEW, JULY AND AUGUST 1966.

Abstract

This brief account of the meteorological conditions encountered before and after the onset of the summer monsoon in Arizona in 1966 will serve as background material for the research and operational activities of the various groups taking part in the project. It discusses factors affecting seasonal variability on a local, state, and continental basis, and summarizes the daily forecast program carried out between 5 July and 2 August 1966. (Author)
