DESIGN OF AN AIRBORNE LASER BEAM PROFILE MONITOR.

Abstract

A system for sensing and recording the profiles of a CW laser beam on a propagation path of approximately 30 degree elevation and 3 miles slant range was developed. The parameters of interest are beam dispersion and energy density fluctuations due to turbulence effects. (Author)
