RESEARCH ON ORGANIC CHEMISTRY AND FERROCENES.

Abstract

Research on ferrocenes, described in this report, includes the preparation of tetrakis-trimethylene-ferrocene, ferrocene-1,1'-diisocyanate and the synthesis and reactions of ferrocenylacetylene and Fc-Beta-chlorovinylketone. In addition physical and chem. properties of bridged ferrocenes were studied. Potentiometric titration with dichromate was applied to the molecular weight determination of ferrocenes. Finally, preparation and optical resolution of appropriate disubstituted ferrocenes is reported. (Author)
