FATAL SUBMARINE ACCIDENTS; A BIBLIOGRAPHY, 1900-1965

Abstract

The bibliography is an outgrowth of a larger study on public reaction to disasters. Wartime fatalities are included, except for those which were caused by enemy action or the existence of a state of war. For example, both the Tang and the Tullibee accidents are listed because that kind of disaster (destruction by their own torpedos) could have occurred during exercises as well as during wartime.
