STUDY OF THE ALBEDO OF THE EARTH.

Abstract

A number of observations of the earthlight reflected from the moon were made during 1963-65. The observations did not cover a sufficient range of earth phase to obtain a phase curve for the earth and the one given by Danjon for a different portion of the earth does not seem quite adequate. Using Danjon's curve, the values obtained for the albedo of the portion of the earth which includes Asia during the months of February and March are very high. (Author)
