THERMAL DEGRADATION OF POLYMERS.

Abstract

Details are reported of a study concerning the thermal and photochemical degradation of the copolymer systems poly(methyl methacrylate)-polystyrene and poly(methyl methacrylate)-polyacrolonitrile. Particular attention is given to the ways the simularities and differences in the degradation properties of homopolymers manifest themselves in the copolymers in a range of varying compositions.
