ANALYSIS OF ADAPTIVE LOGIC OPTIMIZATION.

Abstract

A concept for adaptive processing of information is presented in which heuristic reasoning, normally applied to problems to permit adaptive recognition, is in this case applied to the design of the system to perform adaptation and to learn the problem. Certain similarities exist between the present approach to adaptive processing and other published work on pattern recognition in which geometrical hypersurfaces are generated to provide differentiation. It is contended that the present work provides a more general approach toward learning, in that no built-in assumptions concerning the properties of the environment or the problems to be presented are required.
