ASPECTS OF USING INFRARED FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT DIAGNOSIS.

Abstract

The validity of infrared radiation as a checkout parameter for the diagnosis of electronic equipment is verified by laboratory research. Other advanced checkout techniques are reviewed and compared with that of infrared; the limitations of all the techniques are described. A discussion follows on the implementation of the infrared-radiation technique. (Author)
