RADIATIVE TRANSPORT IN CORNER FLOW.

Abstract

The effects of radiative transport in corner flow are studied. A solution to the diabatic flow problem ph sub t = Q is found as a perturbation on the adiabatic Prandtl-Meyer solution. The solution is specialized to give asymptotic radiative effects at large and small distances from the corner within the expansion fan. Propagation of weak rotational disturbances through the turn is also described by this solution. A variation on the P. L. K. method is introduced to take the singular characteristics into account.
