A GENERAL LEAST SQUARES FIT COMPUTER PROGRAM.
Abstract
The report describes an Algol program capable of fitting a general function of an arbitrary number of variables to any number of measurements of these variables. In addition it will solve n non-linear equations in n unknowns and find the minimum of a function of several variables. Under certain conditions, the program can also be used to find the unknown constants of a differential equation. (Author)
