APPROXIMATIONS OF CONTINUOUS FUNCTIONS BY POLYGONAL FUNCTIONS.

Abstract

Sufficient conditions on a pair of functions in an interval are obtained so that all continuous functions in the interval can be approximated in a continuous way to any preassigned accuracy by piecewise linear combinations of the two. (Author)
