CONTINUOUS FACSIMILE SCANNER EMPLOYING FIBER OPTICS.

Abstract

Mechanical design features of the prototype facsimile scanner are listed and discussed in some detail. This phase of the program is estimated to be approximately 80% completed. The fiber optics detector system, consisting of a light source detector and modulator circuit, is approaching finalization. Problem areas in this phase are discussed. (Author)
