RESEARCH DIRECTED TOWARD THE PRODUCTION OF AN ATLAS OF INFRARED CELESTIAL BACKGROUNDS.

Abstract

The report describes the research and development performed toward the development and testing of equipment and techniques for the production of an atlas of infrared celestial backgrounds. Instrumentation developed during the course of the contract includes: (1) 21 in, f/2.3 Newtonian telescope; (2) 5 in refracting telescope; (3) Multichannel infrared photometer; (4) Photomultiplier photometer.
